We ran out of butter. This was a tragedy, but we went on a quest to the local store, and purchased a large supply of what appeared to be a suitable replacement.
Strange texture, though, interesting colour, unusual taste.
Turns out we’ve been spreading “vegetable grease” onto our toast for the last few days. Keywords on the packeting translate to “vegetable, origin, grease, fat”.
Wonderful, no doubt. At least it’s not lard.
